About this workshop:

What are the high demand fields in the St. Louis region?  How can students identify postsecondary education programs that prepare them for jobs in these fields? What tools and resources exist to help counselors advise students on finding a best fit career pathway? This workshop will start with a labor market overview and an understanding of the multiple pathways that can lead to employment. Participants will delve deeply into an understanding of two career fields - healthcare and technology – and how students can prepare for various kinds of jobs within these growing sectors.

Professional Development Institute is free to attend thanks to support from Norman J. Stupp Foundation, Commerce Bank trustee. BJC HealthCare, BioSTL and Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) are providing in-kind support for this workshop. The Professional Development Institute is presented in partnership with EducationPlus.
