Connecting Students to Non-degree Post-secondary Programs, Apprenticeships and Trades

This workshop took place on Friday, December 8th.

“Middle skills” jobs that require education beyond high school, but not a four-year degree are in high demand. How can counselors connect students to apprenticeships, skilled trades, certificate programs, and other postsecondary opportunities that prepare students for middle skills jobs? What high school or pre-program preparation is required? What are the opportunities for continuing education and advancement?  This workshop will focus on connecting students to high quality post-secondary non-degree programs.
